How do you welcome 2019?

“I release all the things from the past year that has caused any negative attachment. I prepare and welcome new changes, new lessons and new adventures. I welcome new opportunities to grow emotionally, mentally and spiritually.”

What do you want to release from 2018?

What will you welcome in 2019?

Each year on the 31st of December we have a family tradition to make a short analysis of the passing year and welcome and make a “wish list”, “resolutions” or “plans” for the upcoming year.

However this time I invite you to make it differently.

This year I though about changing the perspective and use give instead of ask. Instead of “what do I want to receive or get in 2019”, why don’t we change it to “what do I want to give in 2019?”.

What do I want to give to myself, to my family and beloved ones, to society and to the world? What will be my unique contribution?

How does that sound to you?

I would like to share with you some self reflection questions for the upcoming year, to make it more meaningful for you.

1.What am I grateful for in 2018? (List everything you appreciate from yourself and others, to make it more powerful you can even decide to thank someone else and drop them a sincere thanks, to show how much do you value this person).

2. What am I proud of? (List concrete actions of the passing year that made you proud of yourself, be sincere and celebrate your moments of fulfillment and joy in 2018).

3. What do I want to release from 2018? (List at least one personal growth area which you consider to be improving in 2019, my advise is to focus on your inner world (your attachments and negative patterns), not on the external situation).

4. What do I want to give in 2019? (This is something that you want to share with others, something that will have a positive impact in others and will bring you fulfillment).

5. What new opportunities 2019 will bring me? (Your wish list or challenges, your plans or something you foresee coming).

Make a pause in your busy life and create the moment of peace with yourself, be sincere about these questions and take what matters to you seriously.

Before taking off, lets allow ourselves to pause and listen to our inner world.

I would like to thank everyone for being part of my journey, more to come in 2019!

Wishing you healthy and happy 2019!

Let your inner light shine!

With love,

Jelena
